This has been an amazing - and difficult - process. I spent a year writing, recording, and mixing this album after returning home to new jersey during the pandemic. I decided to work with no limitations. To give myself access to the computer world, and just create. And these are the sounds that came out.

I spent so much time crafting the tiniest little moments. Programming FX automation. Editing MIDI. Tweaking synth patches. Chasing the tones in my head. Mixing. Mixing. Revising. Mixing. So many early mornings and late nights spent communing with my obsession.

I found that I was naturally tapping into my earliest musical influences - video game and movie soundtracks from my childhood in the 90s and early 2000s. As children we soak up all of this aural information without even realizing it. And those impressions never go away. In fact, they often come back at unexpected times.
